It's unfortunate how we are so dependent on technology and when it fails we are utterly fucked. No way around it, not alternatives. Most everything manual or analogue have completely disappeared. In all efforts to make things more 'user friendly', lowest common denominator accessible the ability to do for yourself has nearly vanished.
