Last day of the holiday week for me.

Nicely experienced visit to the ER because yet something else my father no longer does that he is supposed to has caused him yet more physical issues. What the fuck man it's not rocket science do what you are fucking told to do to improve your fucking quality of life.

Just found out TEAL Productions was shouted out on a brand new podcast about Mike Grell because of the Emerald Archer. The show was by Darin and Ruth Sutherland. Excellent!!!!!

Maybe starting to feel my podcasting groove come back. For a couple three weeks I really didn't care to do any. No I want to again. Podcasting and reading comics...that's how I want to spend my retirement.

More of that killer chili while finishing the fall DwtS season.

This drama with my mom and dad is about to make move move to California so that I am too far away to be actively involved. Except for meeting Chef Teri and having a couple kids with a local chick I'm constantly regretful I didn't move further away back when it was easier.

Much soreness this monring but we soldier on.

Breakfast in the hotel was decent. Buffet so you get what you get.

Wow the Carolina Renaissance Festival was so much more then I expected. Quite overwhelming actually. We wanted to take our time and see as much as we could which quickly went out the door. Ultimately we ate some stuff, caught many show including the first round of jousting and missed seing as many shops as we did manage to catch. The entire thing left we with the feeling that I am not a part of geekdom which we be pretty cool to be involved in.

Thai Thai for dinner and it was superb.

Up early some travel to our first stop this weekend. The Southern Christmas Show.

Lotsa walkin around and just chillin in the hotel room for dinner. We walked a little more this year then the past two because of the handful of things that grabbed out interest that we really wanted to look into.

Lunch was better then I would have hoped and we found some cupcakes that were absolutely to die for.

Bed timeto rest upfor more walking tomorrow.

Working on filling the cracks behind the stove and fridge where we think the roaches are coming through from our wonderful neighbors. Time will tell if it worked.

Went to a workout thing and the Health Center last night instead of our usual. Not bad I think I could do that, wind is weak but I didn't hate it.

We tried Yummi tonite and I was unmoved.

Pens looking good tonite but still not much offense considering the names on the roster and the reverence paid to said names by the hockey media.

After the past several years of sharing my life with Chef Teri I can't imagine how empty I would have been nor how crushed I would be without her. Thank you baby for enriching my life beyond my ability to fairly put it into words.

Spent the evening playing taxi for dad and finished with one of the most unsatisfying meals I believe I have ever eaten.

Not enough storage space, no dryer hook-up, very small shower, no off street parking and a landlord that claims 'poor' when things need fixed.. That's our apartment. Now the new neighbors have at least two inside dogs that bark and howl, they allow them to shit all over the yard where we have to drag our trash can to on trash day and they brought roaches from where ever they are from. At 47 I believe it's that time again. The search begins.

Work, yay.

The search has begun with a handfull of possible candidates on the first day.

Yucky early evening bur finished nicely with an excellent breakfast for dinner.
