Three hundred thirty nine

Last day of 2014, feels like just about any other.

X-Aspirations 1 down now moving on to Danger Room 1. Now moving on to Children of the Atom 1 which is a British couple way different aesthetic.

Rachel and Miles issue 4 wherein they sum up the rest of the Silver Age X-men which means that Children of the Atom, X-Aspirations and  Danger Room are the silver age X-men shows left.

I remembering listening to Uncanny X-cast back in the day but that was 2006ish. Lets see.

And finally X-Addiction which is the precursor to Cultural Wormhole's X-Nation show.

I'm going to be able to get the three mangas I forget to order this past August on Amazon, so I'll probably do that tonite. That will only leave me with 4 comics and a magazine still to get. One or two of the comics is out and it looks like I can get the magazine from the publisher. We'll see.

Excellent dinner and 'us' time watching the Pens to finish out the year.

Three hundred thirty eight

I think in my comic reading and podcast listening I am going to make it the year of the X. Focusing on the characters that got me into comics maybe will help re energize my interest.

I have started out by listening to episodes 1 and 2 of Rachel and Miles X-plain the X-men and episode 1 of X-Aspirations. I have also located X-Aspirations, Uncanny X-cast, X-Nation, Children of the Atom and Danger Room.

R & M, X-Aspirations ,Danger Room and Children of the Atom all started with the Silver Age X-men. Uncanny X-cast and X-Nation all started where ever the X-men were when those folks wanted to start their shows so they started current with then.

Sounds like we are gonna go out tonite for dinner, probably Outback.

Outback was atrocious. Gonna be  a while before we go back to this one.

Chillin with college football on the tube while I mess with comic books. Chef Teri is reading up on why Christians are leaving churches, interesting factoids she's throwing out. Many of them sound personally familiar.

Monday, December 29, 2014

Three hundred thirty seven

Long boring, unfulfilling mind numbing, soul taxing day at work. Then a bullshit test for a CPR certification I don't even want anymore.

I hurt Chef Teri's feelings this evening by trying to do something I thought would be good but didn't go about it the best way.

WVU lost their bowl game.

My man juice shot hurts like a mutha fucka.

Watched 74 percent of my just cashed check go away in one fell swoop.

Not really liking today much.

Surfing Facebook restaurants and musical groups to lighten the mood.

Sunday, December 28, 2014

Three hundred thirty six

NFL Gameday last of the regular season.

I think some manga reading is in order today.

Part of me wants to record all my readings in blog posts but when I sit down to write I zone out. I guess that means I don't really wanna blog about it.

The Steelers are looking pretty damn flat.

Saturday, December 27, 2014

Three Hundred thirty five

Nick came over.

Four games watched so far but a break for pens hockey.

Fifth bowl game of the day while the Pens decide to loose.

Quarter watched now back to finish watching the Pens loose their third straight. Yay!!

Three hundred thirty four

Spent a bit of the day with Chef Teri's mom as she recovered from a recent fall to give her brother and sister in law some time off.

Continued my Bowl quest, minus one.

Recorded Dance Fevre. The last of the year and for a while as the next show isn't on till March.

Thursday, December 25, 2014

Three hundred thirty three

Christmas day!!!

Comic stuff and lego's dominated my gifts this year. OYO Pens figures, three separate comic themed items and a fourth that I'm going to use comically. Excellent haul.

We started watching one of my gifts, The Glen Miller Story but had to pause to go over to Chef Teri's mom's for a bit. I cried at the end, I always do.

Back now doin the normal Thursday internet surfing.

Strictly Come Dancing time first the Final of season 12 and maybe the Christmas special all in preparation for a Dance Fevre recording.

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

Three hundred thirty two

Errands, The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies, more errands and then home this Christmas Eve.

Dinner at Outback. It was good but my personal chef, Chef Teri does better.

Lots of reno shows and then finally a Bowl game. I missed one earlier today so my goal of a quarter of each game is shot but that's ok because I had a date with my bride.

Tuesday, December 23, 2014

Three hundred thirty one

Done with work for the next five days, which is good have to go back after that which is bad.

Boca Raton Bowl first up for the evening's entertainment.

Feels like another Dr Strange night.

Poinsettia Bowl first quarter to finish the evening.

Monday, December 22, 2014

Three hundred thirty

Took some holiday confections into work today and they met approval.

Watched a quarter of today's bowl game continuing the streak so far.

Wonderful dinner at home with my bestie tonite.

Pens on next.

Sunday, December 21, 2014

Three hundred twenty nine

Chill morning.

Went out shopping for Chef Teri gifts. Disappointed with my output but I'm not quite done yet.

Home in time to watch the Steelers win their game and make the playoffs this season. Next week's game against Cincinatti will be big.

Now I'm crusing best off blogs for the music scene. Lookin for new stuff that I may like.

Saturday, December 20, 2014

Three hundred twenty eight

Watching the first bowl game of the season while the aire is filled with the smell of cakes and cookies. Starting to feel more like Christmas.

Finally posted Dance Fevre 163. I'm a big phat slacker.

Chef Teri would seriously big me 'fat ass' if I ate all the yummy stuff she can cook. Unfortunately we both have to live by George Washington's advice of moderation in all things.

First of thirty nine quarters of bowl watching in the books. Actually I just watched the entire RL New Orleans bowl.

Next up the Gildan New Mexico bowl and more DR Strange

Chef Teri has put me in chrage of figuring out dinner this evening as she is occupying herself with cookie/cake making.

Early dinner is consumed and now it's time to...keep doin what the hell I've been doin all day.

Pens on!

Three hundred twenty seven

Set up my Fantasy Bowl picks this morning. Except for a couple games I went with the odds makers.

Finished up the first season of The Knick tonite. I like it glad it got another season.

Wednesday, December 17, 2014

Three hundred twenty five

Home now. Frustrated because yet again I managed to say something that hurt Chef Teri's feelings.

Had some killer meatball subs for dinner. Man they were good!

Now catching up on Manhattan. Theses folks lie way too much.

Finally The Knick.

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

Three hundred twenty four

Finished up watching Strictly Come Dancing for the week and recorded the latest episode of Dance Fevre afterward.

Now watching A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Postmodern Jukebox is really cool.

Monday, December 15, 2014

Three hundred twenty three

Home, not at work that makes everything some better automatically.

Excellent dinner of Chef Teri's special chicken wrap...kinda things with Ranch dressing and Pico.

Now watching the Pens after watching the first half of the last Strictly Come dancing performance show.

I'm looking forward to some comic book reading I'm planning to do in the new year.

Leaving Megalopolis was a good read hopefully there will be more.

I tried reading Seconds but only made it about a third of the way through before the totally juvenile art just completely took me out of the story.

Sunday, December 14, 2014

Three hundred twenty two

It was very disconcerting this morning to wake up and look across the bed and instead of seeing Chef Teri instead I spied our bitch cat in bed with me. Yuck!

Now some time for Gameday Morning on the NFL network. By this time next month the football season will be over, sadness.

Which means we still have hockey until April.

Watching the Steelers this season has been no where near as much fun in season past. The secondary is very nearly an embarrassment.

Saturday, December 13, 2014

Three hundred twenty one

Up early this morning and away to the landfill to divest Chef teri of unwanted materials from her recent 'Purge".

Nick's over and it's an entirely chill day.

Concord University Mt Lions lost their DII semifinal game.

Pens at Columbus tonite minus Sid.

Friday, December 12, 2014

Three hundred twenty

Back to work today which is payday.

Sounds like we might get a pizza from our favorite place tonite. Good eat s for MMA watchin.

TUF 20 finale is really good. Chick fights and none of the bitchiness.

Thursday, December 11, 2014

Three hundred ninteen

Helped Chef Teri divest herself of many years worth of clothes and belongings. At one point in an effort to correct a fiscal shortfall I went through what I call 'The Great Purge". I known how hard it can be getting rid of stuff.

Now how eatin some killer chili and watching TUF season 20.

I don't mind and will support women MMA fighters but damn I don't want to watch the behind camera boo hoo, whining and bitchiness most of these females seem to exhibit.

This TUF season hasn't done anything to help woman's MMA. Those that participated should really be embarrassed by the way they way representative.

Wednesday, December 10, 2014

Three hundred eighteen

Home and feeling very blah.

Constantine is first up, then Covert Affairs. Forever, The Librarians and finally Elementary.

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Three hundred seventeen.

Work is work. Did take Thursday off...but it's to help Chef Teri with some stuff so it's not really a day off just off from work.

Nothing really planned tonite maybe we'll watch some shows try to catch up to the winter finale on some.

Big salad and Resurrection. Z Nation season finale and Grimm winter finale.

Monday, December 8, 2014

Three hundred sixteen

On the docket today is to make it  through eight hours of work, dinner, a Dance Fevre recording and finally a Pens game all before 2000. I think we can doit, although that first item may be the toughest.

Home again.

Yummy chicken fajita dinner, kinda.

Dance Fevre recorded and it and The Mighty Thorcast edited and posted.

Sunday, December 7, 2014

Three hundred fifteen

Up kinda early for a weekend but that was because my head, back and neck wanted me up.

Breakfast and early NFL shows then NFL Gameday morning until the Steelers were on at 1300.

It's always a nicer Sunday when the Steelers won. Watching my fantasy team has gotten to be a chore, enough so that I probably will not do football next season.

Getting Strictly Come on tonite so we can come home tomorrow evening and record Dance Fevre before the Pens game.

I hurt Chef Teri's feelings today and I felt really shitty which is good cause it means I don't want that to happen. Callousness will never be a good sign.

Saturday, December 6, 2014

Three hundred fourteen

Late morning. College Gameday. A hour of football and the the pens game. Nice day so far.

Time to record a Mighty Thorcast, bbiab. Done.

Homemade soup for dinner...chicken vegetable I am told.

Alabama won the SEC.

UFC 181 prelims on now.

Friday, December 5, 2014

Three hundred thirteen

American adult life is by and large the mind numbing process of repeating the same circles of actions and behaviors. We all do the same things the same ways at the same times on the same days. Some folks take comfort in the knowledge of encountering and being able to plan for the expected. I however have found myself in soul sucking boredom with the responsible adult life I have to live.

When we do find something new what do we do? Drop it into the machine thus destroying some part of what made it appealing in the first place. I don't know what the change is but man I am BORED with life at the moment. Virtually anyone could take my place and my part of the machine would continue with very little interruption. That's a sobering thought.

A while back podcasting filled the 'new' niche but I feel like it too has now become just another part of my personal background noise.

I have thought and discussed with my personal counselor and have come to a conclusion. It is equally disrespectful to the source material to take a property and anglicize it as it is to take the politically incorrect aspects out when a property is remade. Most folks of a liberal bent feel the former is an affront but the later a necessity. I call a hypocrite a hypocrite.

Love going to the laundromat....yeah.

Lazy evening with Chef Teri who is not feeling too well.

Three hundred twelve

Insomnia is starting to be an issue more and more, not really sure why. It hasn't been a big problem yet but too much more and it will be.

Pens and WVU basketball both lost boooo.

Wednesday, December 3, 2014

Three hundred eleven

Lazy evening watching Pens hockey and finishing my first cozy mystery.

The book wasn't too bad I liked the energy it seemed to have. Next up is a historical mystery with no where near the energy as the last book but more a solemn literary stuffiness.

Feeling very ho hum today, not sure why.

Watched Strictly Come for the week, recorded and posted Dance Fevre 161.

Caught up on Walking Dead...damn I know people die but Beth's was totally pointless. Now some Z Nation.

Grimm and Constantine to finish the evening.

Tuesday, December 2, 2014

Three hundred ten

Quick trip out to the mall and dinner after work this evening.

Now chillin in front of some Monday Night Football.

Sunday, November 30, 2014

Three hundred nine

Almost 10 o'clock before breakfast this morning. Nice being able to sleep late.

Steelers secondary sucked and cost them the game, no where near as close as the score. Late game soft defense allowed scores that really didn't matter.

Time to record Marvel Bronze Age ciao.

Saturday, November 29, 2014

Three hundred eight

Saturday with the youngun.

Sorting through my new prose grabs and I think I may be interested in the Cozy Mystery genre, time will tell.

WVU is having the pretty standard no D game, sucks to watch. They won but it was difficult. I wish they would get rid of Dana like I want the Pens to ditch Fleury.

Chicken tortilla soup for dinner, yummy.

Three hundred seven

Back to work for a day mainly to get all the packages waiting for me

Turns out there were 7, everything I had ordered and was waiting for all in great shape.

So getting a little push-back about whining on FB about always seeing the same geek news hundreds of times every time something happens. Trying really hard not to snark about it.

Thursday, November 27, 2014

Three hundred six

Back to catching up on Resurrection. Dude is riding the drama llama.

Season 1 was scifi season 2 is soap opera drama.

Dinner at the in-laws and now back recording Dance Fevre.

I think I'm gonna knock out some cozy mystery prose tonite and this weekend see what it's like. I can't say that I've ever read in that genre.

Elementary now, I like that show but not the new direction.

Ripper Street for our viewing pleasure.

Wednesday, November 26, 2014

Three hundred five

Chef Teri took an siq day so I did as well.

After catching up on all the latest NHL games (let me say how disappointing it is to find out that there are virtually no sites online from which one can download NHL games) we proceded to catch up on Forever.

Now while my siq Mrs naps I have switched to UFC Fight Night 51 trying to catch up with the years shows. They have 45 planned for next year.

Caught up on Forever and pizza. Now watching Resurrection.

Pens vs Maple Leafs. Pens win and caught up on all the years Marvel comics. They have so many killer properties that are just being misused and abused by the current crop of writers. So many books just totally suck ass.

Three hundred four

Lazy morning and then a quarterly trip to the Dr.

Now catching up on more Marvel comics while UFC PPV's are playing in the background.

Trying to stay with Dancing with the Stars while they hold me hostage for the first hour. I hate it!

Monday, November 24, 2014

Three hundred three

Nice breakfast burrito this morning.

While Chef Teri is getting the oil changed in the car I am doing some of the many busy things I seem to fall into.

I downloaded all of this week's BOOM! press kits and preview PDF's. I also upload all the current weeks covers to a Pinterest board.

Now reading of the adventures of Anja Creed while Invicta 8 is on the tube. And 9. And UFC 179.

Yummo chicken barley soup for lunch today. Chef Teri is the bestest cook ever.

Catching up on some recent Marvel comics.

Now time for Dancing with the Stars.

Saturday, November 22, 2014

Three hundred one

Tudor's and College Gameday for the laid back win.

Now we are catching up on The Strain.

I am trying to catch up on the little projects I keep tasking myself with at the same time as the above.

I'm a little disappointed that The Strain descended into the massive monsters must be fended off and the group survive trope. I thought it had a more cerebral potential.

The longer this season of The Strain goes the more disappointed I get in the writing.

Omlette spot for dinner. Not haute cuisine but works non the less.

The Strain kind of petered out the longer the season ran...not so sure about loosing time to  a second season.

Now catching up on Z Nation which is way cooler because it seems to take itself way less seriously then TS or TWD.

Pens game interrupts our regularly scheduled non pens time.

Three hundred

On and off sleep. New place new sounds but ok overall.

Lots of walking around at the Southern Christmas Show.

One of the first booths we stopped out had some of the coolest pottery Chef Teri and I had seen. We ended up purchasing some but for me that wasn't remotely important. After choosing what we wanted we paid and told the gentleman, whom we now know is Gregory Warren, to keep the change which amounted to less then three dollars. What happened then impacted me in such a profound way and I don't believe I can really explain to anyone else why. Mr Warren was so surprised and touched by our generosity that in that moment I saw for just an instant the kinda of genuine gentleness and kindness that is missing from humanity as a whole. I'm not sure anyone else can even understand I however was moved at that point to the extent after leaving his booth I had to stop and clear my eyes of the tears that had come unbidden and filled my eyes to the point I couldn't see to walk around. Just a couple minutes later it was as if nothing had happened. Chef Teri was there with me and I'm not even sure she fully understood what had happened or why, I'm not even fully sure myself. Either way I need to thank Mr Warren and thank God for putting me in that situation and allowing me the opportunity to experience something that touched me that deeply that quickly.

After the show we searched and decided on Bosnian as the cuisine for dinner. It was excellent and well worth the effort.

Man it was good to be home and after a Pens game to catch our breath we hit the sack in our own bed.

Friday, November 21, 2014

Two hundred ninety nine

Lazy morning. Then an easy 3 hour trip to Charlotte.

We had dinner at the Marroitt because we were already there and it was just minutes walk from the arena.

The concert was the coolest, wierdest concert I have been too. Lots of hair and laser lights with smoke and flame enough to make any 80's-90's hair metal fan happy.

A couple of the songs hit me rather melancholy because of my current feelings about Mike and Nick but not depressingly so.

Got back to the room in time to here our neighbors finish off there rutting session. It almost made the alpha in me throw Chef Teri down and mark my territory but I did not take up the challenge.

Thursday, November 20, 2014

Two hundred ninety eight

Comic book day!

So far my Midtown order, DCB Service order and 3 of 4 Amazon orders have shipped. Excellent shipping news day. The Amazons are Christmas presents for Chef Teri.

Sitting down to record this week's Dance Fevre and after next week only one show to  keep up with until Janurary rather then two per week for Dance Fevre.

Caught up on Walking Dead and watching UFC 178 now lots to catch up there, hopefully we can.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Two hundred ninety seven.

Very profound and deep thinking day at work as far as my social media posts were. Not really sure why.

Now to finish up watching this week's Strictly and perhaps record Dance Fevre 159. Then Pens and some comic book blog posting feels in order.

Nope not enough time to get the recording in before the Pens. Oh well we'll get it tomorrow night.

Monday, November 17, 2014

Two hundred ninety six

UGH!!! Stayed up till past midnight last night and this morning is sucking ass so far.

Some thoughts about what I want to do for TEAL Productions next year so I guess I'll start me goals list for 2015 today.

I had a question answered on a hockey podcast, I'm in!

Listening to the first three episodes of the Constantine Afterbuzz show and I realize how much I'm really diggin the show. Maybe I should pull out the source and read the comics. Add to my 2015 todo list.

It's been fun to watch our youngest son's journey to college so far. Excited to see what he finally picks and hope that he is more successful at it then his brother has been.

Prolly watch Strictly Come Dancing tonite before Dancing with the Stars.

I need to edit and post MBA too...outta town Thur and Fri.

Watched most of the Strictly and Dancing with.

Man dinner was slammin. Chef Teri never ceases to amaze my taste buds.

Two hundred ninety five

Recorded 3 podcasts and produced 6. Feels good to get some podcasting done.

No football today nor hockey.

Slow lazy Sunday.

Two hundred ninety four

Football has gotten boring today for some reason. Trying to finish a novel and that has me bored as well.

Perhaps recording a podcast will interest me, lets see.

Recorded 4 Ronin Rabbit's today.

Excellent steak fajita dinner with Nick and Chef Teri.

MMA to finish the evening.

Friday, November 14, 2014

Two hundred ninety three

The high point of work today was turning in the papers that will end up giving me six consecutive days off from work and nine of eleven total to end the month.

Man trying to talk to my Dad over the phone about computer stuff is, I believe, the most futile thing I have ever attempted in my entire life.

Walking Dead consumed now time fro Pens vs Maple Leafs.

Two hundred ninety two

Hooked Chef Teri and I up with an almost 800 song Glen Miller playlist on Spotify.

I'm feeling and mma watching binge coming on.

Got my Ello invite today. Setting things up and wondering why.

Watched UFC 177 and edited/posted two podcasts.

Excellent beef burrito from Chef Teri!

Thursday, November 13, 2014

Two hundred ninety one

I miss the older days of CGS...Brian, Peter, Jamie and whomever else was free.

I miss the comics I grew up with in the 80's

I miss the comics I read while defining myself in the 90's.

I miss the Big Band era of music.

I miss watching two little boys discover things and grow up.

I miss being a carefree college student.

I miss Belize.

I'm discomfortable with how the Dancing with the Stars group on Afterbuzz will laud and applaud Tommy Chong for his journey on the show at 76 years of age but will put down Leah Thompson's journey at age 53. They don't seem to realize Tommy is doing better only in their minds because they have lower expectations for him then they did Leah coming into the show.

If Tommy wins this I may swear off the show completely as it will have become nothing more then a Junior High popularity contest and has nothing to do with the talent or journey of the star. Very sad.

Fox on the other hand is contemplating cancelling a true competition show in SO You Think You Can Dance. Just no accounting for taste in TV shows by the viewing public. Lowest common denominator at its most extreme.

I think Whitney this week proved that she has been the best choreographer this season.

Recorded Dance Fevre (now two shows in the can to edit).

Watched the Pens game from last night. BOOO!!!

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Two hundred ninety

Blah day at work but it picked up after.

Chef Teri and I went to Richlands, Va to catch the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Pretty pissed that when trying to locate Richlands Middle school, as Google had directed us to an old site, it was not in Richlands at all even though Richlands is an actual town but rather in Cedar Bluff which is a neighboring town.

Sick and tired of the sorry ass small minded hillbilly mentality that is omnipresent around here. Small town living is an insult to intelligence and it's no wonder gap teeth and inbreeding is how outsiders view these people. I live here and have lived here most of my life and I would have to add meth heads and those stereotypes are pretty damn accurate.

Glad to be in my cave away from all those people. Excellent concert and even better datenight.

Monday, November 10, 2014

Two hundred eighty nine

I was looking at where I was in a game called Pearl's Peril that Chef Teri and I play on FB. I realized we started playing together and used to really dig helping each other on the puzzles. I am now 5-6 levels ahead of her simply because...I don't even know. So far ahead in fact that I can't help her with her level's puzzles because they have been too long ago and she can't help with mine because she doesn't know them. What started out as a together sharing thing is not any longer and I feel responsible for that. Kinda a low level dick move. I decided this morning that I am going to stop playing my game and only help Chef Teri with hers until she catches up to where I am and we can play together again like we were doing and enjoying very much.

I'm sorry I left you behind baby but I will help like I used to. My bad.(sniff)

Excellent dinner tonite from Chef Teri...some kind of stir fried chicken and veggies. Yummo.

Strictly Come Dancing on the tele.

Dancing with the Stars to finish up. Tommy Chong needs to go home rather then Leah...that's bullshit.

Sunday, November 9, 2014

Two hundred eighty eight

Doughnuts and coffee for breakfast, yumm-o.

Got Mighty Thorcast 109 in the can now to motivate to edit and post the thing.

Got reservations for our short stay in Charlotte to her the Trans Siberian Orchestra and attend the Southern Christmas Show.

Man this weekend of football from both WVU and the Steelers has me not in the mood to watch anymore this season. It makes me uber pissy and I don't like being in that frame of mind.

Read half of the 5th Rogue Angel novel. Probably the most interesting since the first one.

Saturday, November 8, 2014

Two hundred eighty seven

Up and out before 10am this morning, that's unusual for a Saturday.

Trip for our non anglo food and food stuffs. Cabo Fish taco for lunch and back home in time to catch WVU football.

So WVU is sacking serious donkey on to the Pens.

Pens won with Sid getting 5 points, nice being a Pens fan. It's easy.

Two hundred eighty six

Wow got a melancholy streak from hell going this morning. Can't seem to get out of my head long enough to get into something that will get me out of my head.

I wonder if it's Manhattan Transfer that put me there?

I wonder how long it would take to follow the Ohio River from Huntington to Chester? That would be a pretty cool trip I think. Probably 6-8 hours. I know not everything would be the best roads but I bet you could almost always stay within sight of the river the entire way. Hmmmm.

Nice finish to the evening...a new Italian restaurant for dinner and then 80's music until 2100. Then Grimm and Constantine till bed.

Friday, November 7, 2014

Two hundred eighty five

Lots of political bullshit in the air right now.

It's funny to watch/see/listen as the sheep drop the sound bytes/file footage they have been programmed to spill when certain topics come up.

My current beef is all the people that bitch about how the US constitution calls for a separation of church and state, which in fact it doesn't. Rather then just stating they are not Christian and do not hold to christian ideals, which is actually the case. Sack up and explain what your problem really is rather then use some overly trodden 'label' to speak for you.

Nick, cassidilla burgers and a killer Pens game all make Thursday a win.

Thursday, November 6, 2014

Two hundred eighty four

Chinese was decent. It's been a while since we've been to this particular restaurant, always pretty consistent.

Throw back to the time we chilled after Chef Teri's shoulder surgery by watching home improvement shows all evening.

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Two hundred eighty three

Listening to Sawyer Brown this morning trying to remember what it felt like to be 16 years old. High school, too smart, marching band, cool group of friends...life was good. I didn't have the problems that have cause so many others to block memories from that time. Don't get me wrong many, many things and places I don't want to revisit but far more good then bad.

Recorded Dance Fevre 157. Posted.

Watching the Pens who finally scored right before the end of the first period.

Jeremy Dale died today and I will miss his book Skyward.

Two hundred eighty two

Excited to be back to work this crisp November Monday morning...nope not even remotely.

Today is Godzilla's 60th anniversary.

Lots of dance watching tonite.

Killer turkey meatball wrap dinner from Chef Teri.

Sunday, November 2, 2014

Two hundred eighty one

Watching Jack Ryan this morning trying to get over the shittiest night I have had in a long time.

Now time for some Gameday Morning. Steelers on this afternoon.

Steelers not looking good highlighted by allowing three consecutive sacks of Big Ben. Pathetic.

Fumble, return. Then three defensive penalties on the same play. Touchdown. Yes!!!

Two hundred eighty

Set out to watch College Gameday this morning but 15-20 minutes into it the satellite went out. Nick provided a log in for ESPN3 and with that, a laptop and an HDMI cable Gamdeday is back on the air.

Slowly working those hobby things of my to do  list lately. Feels good.

I am loosing my fucking mind watching the Mountaineers play. I could never have been a head coach.

Let's hope the Pens don't screw their fans like WVU just did.

Yay Pens! Fleury with another shutout.

Friday, October 31, 2014

Two hundred seventy nine

Payday! That is all about work.

I am consistently beyond disappointed that one of my longest listened too and formerly favorite podcasts has taken on a host I can not stand to listen too. The topics are still interesting but Chris just sucks the life out of me every time I hear his voice and he is deferred to by the other hosts because he is a longtime reader and owns a comic shop. The others are all braves and view him as the chief to follow whenever he hosts and I wish anyone else would be on instead of him. Oh well on to the next show.

The NHL has far more of a stranglehold on their media rights then is necessary. They should allow fans the freedom of purchasing team only plans. Gary Bettman is an ass.

So far this season Chef Teri and I have watched every period of Pens hockey this season. Last nights game is buggin me because we didn't catch any of it. Arrrrrr I've got to find a way to watch it before Sunday night.

Lookin froward to salad tonite.

I hope we can get in the entire Pens game before Grimm and Constantine if not no bed until all is watched.

Yes game watched in 135 minutes. I now wish I could find all the games in that format but it would mean waiting a day to do it and that's not as cool as fiction shows.

Editing and posting Dance Fevre 156.

Two hundred seventy eight

This morning seems to be going by horribly slowly.

Dinner was a 'quickie' steak quesadilla that was excellent. Chef Teri can prepare good food off the top of her head and with week of planning it doesn't really seem to matter.

The salsa lessons were greatly disappointing to me as I found that I either lack Latino coordination of am horribly uncoordinated period.

The music and group Lanzallamos was great I we had a great time. The Room Upstairs is a cool get away in our area and I really want to take advantage more often.

Homemade casidilla burgers lat night and Chef Teri has a long term winner with that recipe.

It seems the NCAA is letting up on athletes making money while in college. That's a good thing it's their likeness and livelihood who's business is it other then theirs. Their name and likeness is their brand.

I need to watch some MMA I'm starting to need a fix.

I feel really excited to drop more posts on my new Xmen blog. Unabashed Xfan. I think the nomenclature is an idex blog. I'm going to read books and give my thoughts on them. Nothing special. It would be cool to get folks to comment but I haven't really told anyone about it so that would be hard to happen. I have also started Widow's Bite: A Marvel Black Widow Read Along BlogThousands To Read and Not Enough Time and Imag(i)Nation. It seems a lot but basically they are all there just for my to drop my thoughts as I read-reread X-men, Image Comics, Black Widow and older books.

It's disappointing when the purveyor of all that is both trendy and useless in BFE (Walmart) doesn't carry a 33 inch metal replacement zipper. I'm getting closer and closer to just doing all my shopping at Amazon, because they tend to carry what I need, brick and mortar not so much.

Two hundred seventy six

I started yet another comic book index blog last night. This one so I can put down my thoughts on re-reading the Uncanny X-men from Giant Size on through. I guess these blogs are my way of talking about the books that I like even though it's a very one sided conversation.

Again someone on Facebook who is not a christian but probably would say they have 'read' the bible is using old testament scripture to support their non christian contention. If they had 'read' the bible they would understand as do real Christians that we are not bound by the old testament covenant that we have a new one as of the Crucifixion of Christ.

You post something and then when folks start discussing what you posted you delete it saying you never argue about it. What the fuck is the point of all that? Get some damn balls of move to the side!

After some rough going early and unreliable play from Fleury they spotted him the 6+ goals he needs to win.

Highlight of the week looks to  be a possible trip to a local joint to catch a professional salsa band play, we'll see.

Dinner with Mike was as pleasant a time as the three of us has had together. The meal was decent also. Overpriced for takeaway but good otherwise.

Fish en papiote for dinner and then chocolate pudding and whipped topping fro dessert, yummmmm.

Doing the Dancing with the Stars thing while working on a couple comic book blogs. Probably will finish up the night.

Two hundred seventy four

Gameday this morning running while my body tries to convince me that Campestre is not the type of cuisine it appreciates me ingesting.

Now trying to figure out what I want to do. Read for tonites podcast, read for one of several index blog I'm playing with, read a novel and try to finish it up, nothing but watch TV...decisions, decisions, decisions

Wow had a long discussion of our sons when the ex stopped by the apartment after going to a local church. Will wonders never cease.

Hopefully Chef Teri and my plans to have dinner with my oldest son Mike will still go through. He has proven so far in his young life to be painfully unreliable.

Looks like my fantasy football team may pull one out

Steelers won and my fantasy team for all intents and purposes did not.

Dinner and after with Mike went very well.

Two hundred seventy three

Lots to do today. Tires for the car which included an updated membership to SAMS club and and hour and a half walkthru for an additional $--- spent on items we needed.(?)

Then a top at JoAnnes Fabrics to see if they had the appropriate zipper I need to fix my favoritest jacket ever that Chef Teri got for me.

Then time at a local scifi convention celebrating it's 33 year, our first visit.

Late lunch early dinner that concludes our out time now time to get home and watch WVU play.

WVU won as did the Pens so it turned out to be a pretty good sports day for us. As did Concord University, Marshal University and Clemson University.

Two hundred seventy two

Starting with last night we have a weekend of plans being altered against what we want.

First my youngest wants to change his schedule with us this weekend, then Chef Teri has work stuff both today and tomorrow. Being the 'nice guy' sure can suck at times.

Listening to MMA Hour I can tell I am loosing interest in MMA. Especially since it's been almost a year since I was researching for my podcast. A weekly show was lots of work and I did it for about a year and a half before flaming out. Now it juts too much to keep up with and too many shows I can't watch legally. I can't wait until this Fox contract is over and then maybe it will be interesting again. Too watered down at this point especially with so many fighters being injured.

This season it looks like I may dig that deeply into the Pens as I have a blog following them this season, we'll see how that plays out. I'm great with ideas but my follow through notoriously sucks.

Sorry we missed the TUF 20 episode to watch that paltry showing by the Pens. My favorite female fighter fought and won, gotta grab that one.

So far the Pens are up 3-1. Greiss is doing an excellent job. Well until allowing 2 goals in 2 1/2 minutes. Shit!!!

I'll read about this shit in the morning.

Two hundred seventy one

Got a question from a high school acquaintance over Facebook asking if I had any ideas for comic books for her 10 year old son. Seems she wants to encourage him to read more then he does. Doesn't seem that he isn't into any of the major properties floating around right now.  I'll flip through Previews tonite and see what I can come up with.

Had a killer flank steak soft taco thingy from Chef Teri. I was really good. I'm very fortunate Chef Teri is as gifted as she is in that whole cooking thing. My fat ass doesn't exercise at all so any weight I loose has been do to diet.

Watched the Pens loose, that was fun.

Night all.

Two hundred seventy

Early morning for Chef Teri's procedure.

All went well. Now just chillin around the apartment.

Cheated breakfast and dinner from our low carb thing but given recent results a slip now and then is ok.

Z Nation is kinda better then The Walking Dead. I don't think they take themselves quite as seriously. I think maybe TWD had become unto a TV death dirge, slowly plodding along to nowhere.

We got all of our dancing watched now I just need to motivate to  record. Not feelin it right now.

Monday, October 20, 2014

Two hundred sixty nine.

So begins the day of my wife's clean colon...weeeeeeee.

Quiet day watching Mountain Monsters, In Search of Aliens and reading comics.

Man when my ex interacts with me about our youngest son I have no idea whom to believe. They both lie.

Time for a little Dancing with the Stars action.

Sunday, October 19, 2014

Saturday, October 18, 2014

Two hundred sixty seven

Breakfast burrito to start off the day.

College Gameday in the background as I read some marvel comics .

WVU Baylor looks to be a shoot out. Three minutes in and already 7-7.

Two hundred sixty six

Spent one and a half hours trimming through over six years of likes and follows on Facebook trying to pare down the chaff in my daily feed. Let's see if it works or it just turns out to be the uselessness of the folks I follow who post frequently.

Two episodes of Mountain Monsters, a kick ass dinner and the first episode of the new season of The Walking Dead to start off the evening.

Ok I have never heard of a man named Herbal. I wonder if that's because he is part Cherokee?

Thursday, October 16, 2014

Two hundred sixty five

Enterovirus, ebola being airbourne, Putin threatening nuclear destabilization, the Euro is struggling as are most economies in Europe and the DOW dropping like a rock in water. Not sure but things don't seem to being going well in a general sense. Although the Royals made the World Series for the first time in 29 years.

I believe I have come to the last of my level headedness over the fact that fuckers who work out at a nearby crossfit place feel they can park where ever the fuck they want. I'm about to up my nastiness over the whole damn thing.

Solid dinner out but nothing spectacular. The best part was that Chef teri didn't feel like cooking and so she didn't.

Now Pens and Attack on Titan time.

Pens lose. They didn't deserve to win giving up 2 goals in the last 3 minutes of the game. I swear Fleury can only when blowouts and is just not built to win close games. He is, has been and will be a mediocre goalie who has benefited playing behind Crosby and Malkin.

Work.......

Listening to the Wall Street Journal's podcast cover the government's work on Ebola is a joke...the government not the WSJ.

I'm really conflicted as to what to tell my youngest son about some issues that have caused him to run afoul of his mother and accepted local morality. In another couple years I know my answers will be decidedly different then they are now. Does that make me hypocritical?

I have been following and participating in various ebook bundle programs. The first was Humble Bundle and now I have purchased my second Story Bundle for Urban Fantasy. Cool ideas for very little money.

Mighty Thorcast Special episode in the can now to post produce it and last night's Dance Fevre and see if I can't get them both out. Done

Now to finish with Rivalry Night on NBCSN Detroit at Boston and sundry other.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014

Two hundred sixty three

Did get to work this morning. I was right I didn't miss it in the least.

I'm bored. Work, podcasts...I think comics. Maybe lots I'm doing because I have for so long and not really because I enjoy it. Might nee to sit down and reassess.

Finished watching Strictly Come Dancing and recorded Dance Fevre. Gonna finish up the evening 's entertainment with an episode of Mountain Monster the one that started it all.

Two hundred sixty two

Took the day off from work for the holiday and spent it recording, editing and posting 8 episodes of Lords of Order. Set up the release to finish out the year.

Now if I can just do a similar thing with Ronin Rabbit and get it back in order.

Watched part of Strictly Come Dancing and then switched to Dancing with the stars to finish out the evening.

Sunday, October 12, 2014

Two hundred sixty one

NFL Gameday this Morning to start of NFL Sunday. Another one of my horses in Fantasy Football has been ruled out today. That's two of my three big dogs this week I need some B listers to step up.

It is really a chore this season to watch the Steelers. Not fun at all but I guess being a fan I should support their total shit team.

Almost caught up on my Marvel reading should finish tomorrow as I am taking the holiday off from work.

Gotta note up for the Marvel Bronze Age recording tonite.

Saturday, October 11, 2014

Two hundred sixty

Eventful morning. The trials of being  parent.

Man I missed placing an August comic order and it looks like virtually everything I order all cam out with and issue or volume that month. Dang getting that stuff is gonna be a bitch now.

WVU struggling as usual. At least I have comics to read.

WVU won so that's cool now after a little TV shuffle it's time for the Pens.

Two hundred fifty nine

It's Friday so that's good.

Chris just cancelled the BOOM! Addiction podcast. Seems life won't allow him to put the time into it he wants to.

Thursday, October 9, 2014

Two hundred fifty eight

Imagine the limpest most uncrunchy snack chip you have ever eaten and that is how I feel about my job. STALE!!

I miss the kind of life I felt I had in academia. Perhaps I did miss out on not going on to teach college somewhere and maybe I can start to move that way in another year or so. Some of the absolute horror stories I have heard about adjunct make me apprehensive. Rather I'll just be a student forever taking classes.

I went to CU and participated in Dr Manzo's Geography career day. It was cool to be back in that capacity. I enjoyed.

Tonite the Pens kick off their 2014-15 campaign at home against the Anaheim Ducks. Made 4 fantasy roster moves that finalized this morning and found out I am 12th out of 12 for waiver preference. Picked 10 in the draft and 12th for the waiver wire. Seems like getting anyone but sleepers is going to be by sheer luck this season.

I have already more or less given up on my fantasy football team when the first week I had 8 of 12 players get injured and 3 being horses.

Just rejected my first trade request of the fantasy hockey season.

Pasta for dinner, chocolate pudding for desert and Pens for the show. My baby making fun of me makes it complete.

Wednesday, October 8, 2014

Two hundred fifty seven

The first 4 games of the 2014-15 NHL season go off tonite. My fantasy team is ready. 4 waiver wire moves set for tomorrow and one for next week.

Looks like we are doing some Christmas shopping tonite.

No BOOM! Addiction recording tonite, had an interview setup but...what the hell ever.

Damn I dig the sounds of hockey after 4 months of nothing.

My Podfather made a call for assistance on Facebook today, had to come in heavy. Glad we were able to.

Ordered my newest collecting obsession for Christmas, Oyo.

Tuesday, October 7, 2014

Two hundred fifty six

Always fun starting off an eight hour day of doing things you really don't want to do by asking someone to do their job and being sorely disappointed.

Shit on again off again BOOM! recording is really a pisser.

I really have a hankerin to re-read the late 80's early 90's X books. I wonder if I have room to add that to me schedule?

Coolness, likes like Chef Teri and I are planning a couple cool days in Charlotte near the end of November. Hope everything stays cool till then.

Dance Fevre in the can and episodes of Reign and Forever watched.

Monday, October 6, 2014

Two hundred forty five

I'm really looking forward to hearing a female talk about Outlander in an intelligent, thoughtful manner rather then the wet panty, you ain't never way that all I have heard so far do. The unfortunate thing is that those discussions will never be taken seriously when you fan gush all over it.

Listening to comic book geeks discuss comic book movies is just short of painful to me. Those conversations usually embody most everything I dislike about others opinions.

A wonderful dinner of Quesdilla burgers from Chef Teri and the first episode of this weeks Strictly Come Dancing.

Next up will be podcast editing while watching this week's Dancing with the Stars. Emerald Archer and The Mighty Thorcast.

Busy night so far, draft time. It sucked hard. Started out too low for my taste and too many on autodraft killed any plans I had. Oh well it will be what it is.

Sunday, October 5, 2014

Two hundred forty four

After some adult time and a yummy breakfast I sit watching NFL Gameday Morning organizing my online day and it all involves comic books.

I'm really looking forward to the start on the Penguins season, the Steelers are not overly enjoyable this season. They lost to the worst team in the NFL last week and are not looking good against the worst this week.

Now I have an episode of The Mighty Thorcast in the can to edit as well as an Emerald Archer. I really dig podcasting but man producing is really the pits.

Kinda big news in the comic book world about Fantastic Four today. Rumored earlier but pretty much confirmed today.

Nice phat chef salad for dinner. I dug it!

Saturday, October 4, 2014

Two hundred forty three

I wonder if there will ever be a time when waking up in the mornings is not a chore?

Gettin things in place to record Emerald Archer and hopefully several Lords of Order.

'sniff' 'sniff'  I love the smell of College Gameday in the morning.

Low carb busting breakfast of biscuits and gravy and apple butter this morning. Gotta take a break sometimes.

Recorded a podcast with the offspring.

Plenty of football today now some UFC.

Friday, October 3, 2014

Two hundred forty two

Pay day, the only day that makes work worthwhile.

Nice low carb dinner at Outback and then how for some leaded raspberry coffee for dessert.

Now the Louisville/Syracuse game on till Bellator starts.

Gonna play with some blogs tonite too.

Thursday, October 2, 2014

Two hundred forty one

Dinner was very good given our current restrictions.

Edited and posted a Dance Fevre and Marvel Bronze Age, now if I can only get us back on Track with the Thorcast. We have the materials for 3 or 4 shows right now.

Watching the season finale of The Lottery, Scorpion, Red Band Society and NCIS New Orleans.

Wednesday, October 1, 2014

Two hundred forty

Finished up watching Strictly Come Dancing episode 2 from season 12, TUF season 20 episode 3 Outlander episode 8 and finished up with TUF season 20 episode 4.

Wow I can't believe how angry watching Black Jack Randhal was making me on Outlander. I was literally going to turn it off if he did what he was threatening.

Two hundred thirty nine

Work...yeah.

Had a killer lasagna-esque dish with eggplant substituted for the pasta and it RAWKED!!!! My wife is a cook beyond description for me. The time and energy she puts into planning and executing meals is simple outstanding. I am one lucky eater.

Watched some Strictly Come Dancing and then got ready to record BOOM! Addiction only to have a computer malfunction that cancelled the recording. Found out it was a simple selection on Skype I had now idea how it became unselected.

Two hundred thirty eight

I think weekends are too short and work weeks are to long. Overall too much time is spent making an amount of money that in all likelyhood will be too little to live the kind of life one wants.

Got some hockey cards today, I now need to sleeve them.

Need to edit and post the MBA recording from last night. Watch Dancing with the Stars. Watch Two episodes of Strictly Come Dancing. Read books for BOOM! Addiction recording tomorrow night. Catch up up some other TV shows so as not to fall behind like last fall. Then many other projects of those above are finished.

Monday, September 29, 2014

Two hundred thirty seven

Wow there was absolutely no reason to have watched the Steelers game today . That were embarrassing to watch with five sacks allowed and numerous hands to the face and personal foul penalties each. I really do think at 18-18 over the last 36 it's time to start moving out of the Tomlin era. Todd Haley still doesn't do much for me either. Defense is too old and they keep letting top receivers go before their time. I don't believe the team philosophy has been to win the past several years but rather about money which is sad to do to such a strong history.

Saturday, September 27, 2014

Two hundred thirty six

Up and taking in College Gameday.

Gonna head to the Princeton Autumnfest here in a little bit.

Autumnfest was fun. About a hour and a half of walking around scoping different things. Grabbed some lunch while we were there and got back home in time for the first round of football.

Now workin on my many blogs trying not to nod off.

Ok dude the wife put together a dinner that is top ten regardless of the fact she was trying to do all these healthy things. It was great. Thank you baby I really appreciate all the brain power you have been putting into our meals lately.

Friday, September 26, 2014

Two hundred thirty five

Today is Friday and that ain't nuthin' but good. The only two things that could make it better were if it was payday and or I had it off.

Caught up on The Lottery and now Dr Who.

Bellator tonite also while I mess with several different blogs. A few fights from Titan FC and Legacy FC to finish off the evening's viewing.

Thursday, September 25, 2014

Two hundred thirty four

Called in today so that I could go to the eye doctor and let them dilate my pupils. I never before realized how mind numbing boring going to the laundromat could be without being able to see. My soul is now several years older I can never get back.

Pissed that I wasn't on the email that Chris sent out to his new Geek Sushi friends telling them he would not be able to record last night. That may mark the beginning of the end of my involvement with BOOM! Addiction. Seems like I am far more dedicated to doing it then Chris is and it is really starting to frustrate me.

Caught up on Manhattan and now gonna finish the evening with some Redskins/Giants.

Wednesday, September 24, 2014

Two hundred thirty three

SHIELD season 2 premier much stronger then season 1. I wonder if they are going to keep up that tempo for the entire season. Action, questions super bad guy the whole nine yards right off the bat.

Don't really like the soliloquy after each episode of Forever.

Extant is next.

BOOM! Addiction recording to finish up the evening.

Two hundred thirty two

I'm really diggin Outlander. Awesome cinematography.

TUF 20 has two back stories. Boo hoo I miss my baby or I came from a tough place. After hearing it once or twice it gets boring.

Forever tonite during dinner and then a second two hours of DwtS. I like the show but 4 hours a week is a little too much. I think it's back down to just a single hour after this week.

Strictly Come Dancing starts up this weekend.

Downton Abbey started up lat weekend but we are already a season behind.

I really want to try to keep up with TV watching for the new fall season. Lots of new shows I want to catch. Saturday and Sunday are out cause of football. Monday nights are full and after ten is out as well. Not sure what to do but I am not going to fall behind like last fall.

Monday, September 22, 2014

Two hundred thirty one

Work was...yeah.

Paid for a service that will allow us to catch online any Steelers game for the rest of the season after it has been played. NFL Rewind. Gonna try it out tonite by watching the second half we missed last night. That will make every quarter so far this season.

Gotta edit and put out Emerald Archer from this weekend too.

Four weeks of College and three of NFL and I missed that today was the first official day of Fall. Man I miss my college days.

Sounds like we have some more new folks on BOOM! Addiction again this week. Hope so, I think it's something Chris needs to keep his interest going. Me...I don't really care one way or the other.

Catchin up with the Steeler's game was cool. Best was an excellent diiner of fish, broiled squash and salad. All low carb of course.

Watching Dancing with the Stars after catching up on Outlander.

Sunday, September 21, 2014

Two hundred thirty

The Alps by Air to start off this lazy Sunday. Next up is NFL Gameday Morning.

Chef Teri outdid herself by finding a breakfast that was carb low and very tasty. She is really coming into her own as an excellent cook and I get to reap the yummy benefits.

Now to knock out some more Marvel books on my way to hopefully catching up and reading some of my other stacked up books.

I'm always stressed in trying to figure which to read...new stuff or the older stuff I seem to be drawn to or even the way older stuff that was the basis for everything we see today. Image, Avengers, Justice League, Legion of Super-Heroes all vie for my attention and now Black Widow as well as new podcasts ideas have encroached. Keeping in mind I still have 4 podcasts I already do about comics I have to read for and another podcast I have to watch a little television to get ready for.

If I could only make money from all that I would retire in a heartbeat and do that stuff full time.

Now Bengals Titans to start the days NFL watching. Broncos Seahawks and finally Steelers Panthers.

Saturday, September 20, 2014

Two hundred twenty nine

Breakfast was a cool break from the low/no carb method with homemade biscuits and gravy.

College Gameday follow by the VTech/Georgia Tech game.

Interesting world politics coversations with the youngest Nick.

Just researched and found out there are right at 700 schools with varsity football. Every high school football player should be able to find a school if they just look.

Dang got phat on homemade potato soup for dinner. Blew the carb thing out of the water today...well back to it tomorrow.

WVU show the #4 Oklahoma Sooners what it's like to roll into Morgantown.

First half for WVU solid.

Second half sucked ass.

Friday, September 19, 2014

Two hundred twenty eight

After a huge homemade Chef Teri salad for dinner we chilled a bit and then ran to Bluefield to get some pics of Nick escorting a friend in the Homecoming court for Graham.

Sorting comic books while listening and semi watching Bellator.

Thursday, September 18, 2014

Two hundred twenty seven

Work was work. Lots of trouble shooting and filling in new structures.

Excellent anti pasta salad for dinner.

Bought a story Bundle today 8 ebooks for $20, not a bad deal. Only one was of questionable interest to me.

The Lottery, Outlander and Alaska Monsters.

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Two hundred twenty six

Had an awesome time talking comics for BOOM! Addiction last night. Geek Sushi folks will probably be a new addition to the panel. There are two guys and two girls over there. @tweetgeeksushi himself Peter Rodriguez joined as last night.

New comics day.

I think I may be entering an ageist crises of sorts. I miss the initial foundational things that formed many of my likes I experience now. Pop culture and literature in particular. Being old and jaded is just not any fun.

I've been trying to monitor twitter and interact more. It's been kinda fun.

Damn I hate the system I have to use at work to update our maps and pass those maps through to the Telecommunicators. It never works the way it's supposed to.

Home and Chef Teri is working on something that  smells delish!

I am totally in love with my wife. She is without a doubt the best thing that has happened to me.

...and it did taste as good a sit smelled.

Dance Fevre in the can Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing season openers.

Ultimate Fighter 20 to finish up the evening.

Two hundred twenty five

Only 1066 weeks left till retirement. I can do it. Probably not.

Recording BOOM! Addiction tonite and that is good.

Monday, September 15, 2014

Two hundred twenty four

Wow the NFL is just imploding with all the alpha misbehavior.

Feels good watchin NFL not having to worry about the Steelers, more enjoyable. They already lost this week.

Saturday, September 13, 2014

Two hundred twenty three

Starting off with breakfast from Burger King and College Gameday.

I'm about to finish off July 2010 books and so I can now focus more on current stuff and try to catch up before loading up August 2010 books. My goal is to read to January 2013 and I will essential be caught up with my comic book reading.

A win is a win but that one was far from pretty. Especially if WVU is going to have a good year.

Ran across a cool cover group named Postmodern Jukebox. Check em out on youtube.

Friday, September 12, 2014

Two hundred twenty two

Ok TUF 20 is really pulling down my views on female MMA. Way too much bitchy jr high type behavior.

Crushin Twitter with my wit today. Yeah Baby!!!

Pizza from our favorite joint and some Bellator to finish up the night/week.

Thursday, September 11, 2014

Two hundred twenty one

Ticia Tores lost her first fight. That's good because it puts some spotlight on Randa Markos.

Being awake till past midnight and getting up at 5.30 do not mix.

I am really tired of all the 911 profoundness that is sweeping social media. Most is brutally pathetic.

Omelette spot for dinner, pie and coffee for desert and Steelers v Ravens digestivo.

Two hundred twenty

Work sux.

Excellent steak dinner tonite prepared by Chef Teri.

TUF 20 is tonite looked forward to watching the girls slug it out.

Tuesday, September 9, 2014

Two hundred nineteen

Adult time is much more enjoyable then when I was younger. I think I kinda know what I', doing now.

Dance Fevre and Marvel Bronze Age episodes posted.

Tryin to catch up on Marvel titles. I hate two page spreads in comics.

Two hundred eighteen

Monday Night Football with Chucky doing color. I can't believe the serious NFL headcoach has signed to do the kinds of commercials that Hooters makes him do. I guess money is money.

No one made it to the final stage in this season's American Ninja Warrior, only two made it to the third.

Sunday, September 7, 2014

two hundred seventeen

NFL Gameday Morning means the NFL season is officially here. Thursday was just a healthy pre cum tease. Now it's real.

Watching Steelers and following Geno Smith on twitter updates.

Watching the Steelers suck at the same time my fantasy team shits is very nerve wracking. No more watching fantasy football, I'll just catch the finale.

I may also quit watching the Steelers as well. Watching your team get fucked like a pussy isn't much fun to watch either.

Saturday, September 6, 2014

Two hundred sixteen

Football all day. College Game Day at 9 A all the way through.

Slammin Kung Pao beef tonite, thanks baby.

Friday, September 5, 2014

Two hundred fifteen

College football, Kick Boxing and MMA on tonite. Not sure what we'll watch.

Looks like UFC Fight Night to start the evening.

Thursday, September 4, 2014

Two hundred fourteen

The past two nights for dinner Chef Teri has taken homey foodstuffs and produced some killer meals.

NFL season starts tonite as does my fantasy sports season.

It's cool having a conversation with the wife about which NFL playing quarterbacks will make the hall of fame.

Two hundred thirteen

Sitting in my office...I didn't miss it.

Sunday, August 31, 2014

Two hundred eleven

The Lottery, Outlander.

Dude I seriously don't want to go back to work Tuesday.

Marvel Bronze Age recording was a bust, I read the wrong books, but we got a Dance Fevre in instead,

Destination America has a corner on the market for Monster shows.

Saturday, August 30, 2014

WVU Alabama is next with a short foray just prior to the USC Virginia game.

Meat loaf for dinner, yummy. See I don't you I had no problem with meatloaf.

Thursday, August 28, 2014

Two hundred eight

Dang just found out that the game I watched lat night was NOT the first of the season which was the whole reason I wanted to watch it. Seems there was one last Saturday.

Caught up on all of Derek's Dog Days of Podcasting shows earlier today while Chef Teri ran out doing errands.

Now reading books from 7/10 on my way to catching up to 1/13. One of many comic reading projects I have running.

25 different games going off tonite probably 4 or 5 to choose from to watch.

Time for Texas A&M v S Carolina. Now onto the 4th game of the day. Not all but part.

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

Two hundred seven

Watching the recent UFC fight night from Dublin, Ireland. Man that had to have been and intense place to be.

Grabbin books for the day/week/month is good but I still haven't figured out why most direct download sites won't work here but will at work.

Chef Teri woke up this morning after having sex dreams, you know what that meant. Yeah Baby!!!

Previews today, my favorite comic related magazine.

Ok I am officially MMA'd out. Never thought it could happen but now I know that watching 30+ straight hours is my limit.

One eye on UFC Fight Night Le/Bisping and one on the Georgia State/Abilene Christian game to start the college season this year. Man the internet is cool.

Tuesday, August 26, 2014

Two hundred six

All UFC, all day all the time. I wanna catch up with some part of something I have fallen behind on and this looks like it.

I haven't been as productive as I had hoped I would be, except with the podcasts there we're actully caught up.

Quick trip out that included a trip by a cool antique place and M & M market to try their food. Bestest BBQ sandwich to date.

More UFC and some killer dogs for dinner with nice pasta salad and suspect homemade kimchi.

Youngest son's birthday now.

Two hundred five

Breakfast and Boardwalk Empire...they forever go together they're a classic combination.

First day of our last week off, gotta make em count from here on out.

Takin a break from Boardwalk to watch some UFC while Chef Teri takes a nap. Life is good.

Dude just got kicked out of the kitchen for a surprise.

Killer Spicy Tofu and Noodle dinner tonite. The surprise was homemade kimchi.

4 UFC cards knocked out this evening. Catching up on the years shows slowly but surely.

Two hundred four

Started the day by washing clothes at the laundry and grabbing breakfast.

Watching Daryl's Overhall and downing some more panini's for lunch.

Reading these old comics is a hoot.

Saturday, August 23, 2014

Two hundred three

No family picnic. Bummer. Not really.

Hopefully Emerald Archer and Dance Fevre are both gettin in the can today. If so  that'll be five shows this week, it's been awhile since TEAL has been that prolific.

Still thinking about that pizza last night.

Working through organizing some novels.

Not wowed by the first Capaldi Dr Who, not put off. Just quietly hopeful.

Now a UFC Fight Night card headlined by Ben Henderson.

Did end up posting Emerald Archer today, Dance Fevre will go down tomorrow.

Friday, August 22, 2014

Two hundred two

Dr app for my and trips to drop off scrips, get my check and grab my monthly comic order. Laundry and post office fills the day.

Now to stay motivated and finish up two podcasts. Done.

Damn that pizza was killer tonite. My wife is da bomb.

Finishing the night with a RFA card.

Tuesday, August 19, 2014

Two hundred one

I was remiss in thanking my beautiful, currently injured wife for making a most excellent breakfast of home fries and biscuits and gravy for us yesterday morning. Thank you baby, see this is what I mean about taking things for granted. I'm working on it.

Trying to put the month's comics order together while watching a new, to us, home improvement show.

Order a no go they had server problems.

Monday, August 18, 2014

Friday, August 15, 2014

One hundred ninety eight

Quick run this morning to the PO and store to start the day.

Now watching Covert Affairs, Defiance, Extant, Legend (which has a strong Treadstone vibe to it), Manhattan, Outlander (May have made me interested enough to read the first novel), The Knick, The Strain, The Lottery and Black Box. Quite the assortment.

Humans desire to anthropomorphize strips from the target the true thing that makes humans different other then the opposable thumb that is. I think homogenizing that uniqueness is not a good thing. Unique is good, homogeneous is not.

Thursday, August 14, 2014

One hundred ninety seven

Went out to the Dr, the Magistrate, the mall to pick up birthday presents (for the youngest) and a stop by mom's to show signs of life.

Homemade pasta, man I've missed my wife's wonderful cooking. Other things I haven't had to miss (wink, wink).

Now a have to study up for a BOOM! Addiction recording and looks like Levi and I will be recording Marvel Bronze Age this coming Sunday.

It's really cool when a read a comic and my firt two thoughts when I finish are 'man that was great' and 'is this an ongoing'.

One hundred ninety six.

My baby finally looks and feels like herself. I'm glad.

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

One hundred ninety five

Teri took a shower today and it wiped her out. My poor baby. It's not as painful as she thought but it think everything else is more then she thought.

I just hope I can take good care of her until she's better.

Monday, August 11, 2014

Sunday, August 10, 2014

One hundred ninety three

Teri is not having a good day today. A reaction to something not quite sure what.

One hundred ninety two

Nick came over and we started out with Tudor's for breakfast.

The self medicating pain ball didn't seem to be working for Teri. We got it working right and then we think she had a reaction to it and we went ahead and took it out and changed out all her dressings.

Nick made some chicken barley soup for dinner and it was really good.

Now watchin some mma while Teri tries to watch home renovation stuff.

Friday, August 8, 2014

One hundred ninety one

Day 1 after surgery. Lotsa pain. Teri is getting frustrated because she can't get comfortable.

Watching the first season of Ancient Aliens in prep for tonites new episode and then In Search of Aliens after.

Nope switched to some unviewed UFC cards. 3 for the night. Feels good to be watchin these that we've stored up. So far since 2011 Teri and I have seen every UFC card. This year they seem to be showing cards out their ass and it's been hard to keep up.

KFC for dinner. I thin it was ok with my baby.

A buddy of mine that has run into multiple issues with running a website just can't seem to not every time he begs off and says he's done.

One hundred ninety

Social media is a curious thing. Using to keep those interested abreast of Teri's surgery.

8:00 arrive
8:20 in out patient holding
10:00 pre-op
10:20 me in OPH, Teri in OR
12:20 got word Teri in post op, things went well
1:45 Teri's chillin
4:30 Checkout time
5:45 home and dug in

Man sittin around all day really wore this fatboi out.

Thursday, August 7, 2014

One hundred eighty nine.

The high point of my days was buying my first Humble Bundle. Over 900 mb of digital comics from BOOM! for $30. Only slightly less high pointy was that today is the last day at work for at least two weeks, unfortunately because Chef Teri is having surgery.

I just ate like 3 pigs on an 18 inch grinder. UGH!!!

Dance Fevre time. Looks like we're gonna record episode 146 tonite as well.

Mike earlier brought over a laptop he is not using so that we could hook it to our TV and stream TV shows to it.

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

One hundred eighty eight.

Don't remember work, who cares.

Went to new restaurant in Beckley for dinner and chilled comin home listenin to 80's. Love my life and my wife.

one hundred eighty seven

Countdown to Chef Teri's rotator cuff surgery. I think we are both scared which is not a bad thing as long as we don't allow that feeling to govern what we do and say.

Sunday, August 3, 2014

One hundred eighty six

Captain crunch for breakfast is a nice break from the rice and or corn chex I have had for the past too many months.

Reading for The Mighty Thorcast 107.

Now doin some TV catchup. First up is Covert Affairs, Defiance, Dominion, The Lottery, In Search of Aliens and finished with Extant.

Saturday, August 2, 2014

One hundred eighty five

Lazy day.

A visit to World Oasis and Eats Natural Food and a leisurely dinner at Kalbee. Great time with Chef Teri.

Now I Frankenstein.

One hundred eighty four

Blah day to finish out a blag week. Wendys and laundry was kinda sketchy but after that...reading comics and Lion Fights before bed salvaged the day.

Friday, August 1, 2014

One hundred eighty three

Big news is an Ebola outbreak in Africa and Israeli military aggression in the middle east. No word about the thousands of children in the US that may only get one if any meals each day since school is out of session. Horribly misplaced priorities. Let the rest of the world go to hell and take care of your own.

Recorded Dance Fevre. Now my lazy ass has two shows to edit.

Thursday, July 31, 2014

One hundred eighty two

Man this fat forty six year old body can not handle 4 hour nights anymore.

Long soul sucking day at work.

Home to the wife and a steak dinner.

So you Think You can Dance and digital comic sorting to finish out the day.

Wednesday, July 30, 2014

One hundred eighty one

Retsing up and then heading to Salem, Va to catch this years's DCI show.

Frustrating trying to find places in Salem, it's probably just me.

Excellent Mediterranean place with the best falaffel and lamb gyros we have had. Yummo!

Excellent DCI show. Man the weather was perfect. Carolina Crown finished second which was ok but not the 3 point spread between them and first place. No way.

Denny's on the way home. Fair but nothing to extol.

Tuesday, July 29, 2014

One hundred eighty

Submitting Marvel Bronze Age to everyone I can find hopeing to get the word out.

Wow I really desperately need a reason to be at work besides money. I want something else quite badly.

Found a podcast looking around that I listened to back in the day faded in late 2006 then has been back since the early part of 2013. Coolness.

I seem to be spending more time looking at my pop culture consumption in the past then thinking about what I'm currently consuming.

Time at the in-laws, American Nija warrior and a podcast recording. Full evening.

Monday, July 28, 2014

One hundred seventy nine

Nick came over Saturday. We all just hung around the partment. Had some killer bisquits and gravy for breakfast.

Sunday more of the same minus Nick. Some of Teri's family is in town so that will be the thing for the next couple days.

Friday, July 25, 2014

One hundred seventy eight

So many folks must rely on online price guides for comic info. Not much to choose from by way of digital copies.

Wonderful dinner from Chef Teri. Hoisin Flank Steak over Soba noodles.

Diary Queen for desert,

Filing digital comics with Bellator on the tube.

One hundred seventy seven

Listening to a newer X-files podcast and remembering how cool that show was and how 'in' it felt to be watching it from the beginning.

Not as wide a variety of podcasts about crypto/ancient alien/pseaudo archeology as I would think. Especially given the popularity of the Ancient Aliens TV show.

Played with my new external drive sorting the A's in my digital comics collection while home improvement shows spun on the TV.

Thursday, July 24, 2014

One hundred seventy six

Comic book day and Previews pickup day. Best combo day of the month. Two new Dr Who books come out this week.

Pretty excited for Chef Teri's (Moore Cooking) dinner tonite.

I told Chef Teri about a book coming out the first quarter of 2015 and she said to '"add it to the pull list please" My work is done.

Why yes, yes I am looking at Fantasy Football stuff.

Damn my office gets too hot in the summer. Working on a computer sweating isn't fun.

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

One hundred seventy five

Work bores the pee outta me. I guess I should settle in, still got 1127 or so weeks to go. That's encouraging.

I have so many cool comics projects I want to do but just not the time.

It's curently not appropriate to label a folk based on name or color or religion but based on sex you can. #thanksrapeculture

Tuesday, July 22, 2014

One hundred seventy four.

Today was movie day with Conan the Barbarian, Aliens v Predator requiem and Battleground Los Angelos.

St Louis American Ninja warrior finals to finish the nights viewing.

Sunday, July 20, 2014

One hundred seventy three

Started off today with some adult time. Not sure there's a better way to start a day.

Watched with Chef Teri and were both captivated by an H2 show on the Forbidden City.  Far eastern history is very much my sweet spot.

Recorded and set to post next Saturday The Mighty Thorcast 106.

Caught up on Covert Affairs and Defiance

Saturday, July 19, 2014

One hundred seventy two

Uploaded both podcasts and now chillin with Mad Max 2 on the tele.

Three episodes of Dominion and the first two of Extant knocked out. Dominion doesn't quite have the feel I was hoping for and Halle Berry is wrong for not telling her husband.

Defiance is next three episodes.

Friday, July 18, 2014

One hundred seventy one

Two podcasts recorded today and when not recording and Ancient Aliens marathon. Nice day.

One hundred seventy

Half a day today is exciting.

Excellent burgers tonite, my wife rawks!

Thursday, July 17, 2014

One hundred sixty nine

I was right. I'm a juvembie.....

Hmm there doesn't seem to have been a Topps UFC Finest set produced for this year. Sux as that is the only UFC set I was purchasing.

I hate when I tell someone to call and then miss their call. Dumb ass.

Need to edit and release two podcasts tonite and recording another one or maybe two tomorrow night.

Put on some covers on the BOOM! Addiction Pinterest cover gallery in between stuff today has been kinda fun.

Was not captivated by SYTYCD tonite. Many blah pieces. O well maybe next week.

Wednesday, July 16, 2014

One hundred sixty eight

New BOOM recording tonite, looking forward to it. Lots of books to catch up on, almost there.

Another killer dinner night. Chef Teri is raising the stakes.

Man I'm gonna be dead in the morning.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

One hundred sixty seven.

It's truly humbling how easily my wife can make me forget a lousy day and really just revel if the fact that we are together.

One hundred sixty six

Emerald Archer yesterday and Dance Fevre and Mighty Thorcast today. Plus Marvel Bronze Age later tonite. The podcasting machine has returned.

Marvel Bronze Age cancelled.

Sunday, July 13, 2014

Saturday, July 12, 2014

One hundred sixty four

Looks like Monday will be the last day for my intern at work.

I am dead.

Friday, July 11, 2014

One hundred sixty three

My progression this morning
Tom and Jerry -> Is you is or is You Ain't -> Louis Jordan -> Cab Calloway -> Nicholas Brothers ->Harlem Renaissance. Not sure why but that's what I read about.

I think I final gave my intern Andrew something to do that was more along the lines of what he was hopeing when he started.

Had a long sex/gender discussion with the women up front. It all started with a question wondering if post op transgender folks change their birth certificate.

Thursday, July 10, 2014

One hundred sixty two.

New comic book day and even it seems boring and monotonous.

Everything seems so regimented and I don't know how to get interest back. I'm really at a lose as to what to do but keep trudging through it.

Wednesday, July 9, 2014

Tuesday, July 8, 2014

one hundred sixty

Wow maybe I should just pull back and try to do this once a week since daily is just not working out, especially here lately.

The fourth of July and a birthday this weekend. One was cool and the other no big deal.

My intern is wearin me out. Having to find him stuff todo.I think it was a bad call to bring him on but then it wasn't mine. The allure of free labor.....

Sunday, June 29, 2014

One hundred fifty nine

Nicely Casual Sunday.

Caught up on Crisis, Covert Affairs, Defiance and Fargo.

Saturday, June 28, 2014

One hundred fifty eight

Sausage gravy and bisquits and hash browns FTW!

Meatball sammys and UFC.

One hundred fifty seven

Today is payday so that's a plus.

Man I am so bored with work right now.

Not at home  things picked up considerably. Adult time with the wife, decent meal out in the area. Much better then work.

Monday, June 23, 2014

One hundred fifty five

Completely shite day feeling like rubbish.

Catching up on Bunker, Lazarus, Shogun Warriors, Orphan Black, Black Box and Dominion,

Sunday, June 22, 2014

One hundred fifty three

All day at hero con, it was cool walking myself numb with my best friend. Pics tomorrow.

One hundred fifty two

Final prep for our yearly trip to Heros is tonite after work. Work, ahh who cares.

Gotta get my comic order in today and check with the LCS and make sure they still have me down for Usagi Yojimbo.

Comic order came in with the new Lone Wolf and Cub in it but not Chef Teri's present.

Reda something today that really moved me. Felt good to be saddened in that way. Nice to see those muscles still work.

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

One hundred fifty

My brother just told me his wife has been released form her job. Sux.

Jon Jones sounds fairly literate in interviews. Impressive.

Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra and Yellowjackets. They fit my personality best.

Expanding my review blog to include Justice League and LSH for some variety.

Feelin really shitty inside tonite.

One hundred forty nine

Chef Teri got a date for her surgery. Old age, she is a bitch.

Once again it is fuckin hot in my office.

It's curious to me that so many retail establishments in our area curtail their offerings in the evenings when all the working folk get off work. When the hell are we supposed to get the things we need when shit is open M-F 9-5?

Saturday, June 14, 2014

One hundred forty seven

I just twenty minutes or so going on about the Adventure People collection I had as a child.

Nick driving himself over now is convenient as all get out, I dig it.

Watchin some UFC while workin on podcasts.

One hundred forty six

So apparently the apathy hit any desire to blog as well. It's been a week since I saved the previous draft.

Finally got some feedback today on Marvel Bronze Age after 3 episodes, That's pretty good I think.

Damn some nookie and then a kickass dinner. I'm out (drops mike and walks off stage)

Friday, June 13, 2014

One hundred forty five

Maybe I'll get some reading done this weekend. Another Attack on Titan volume, catch up on a current DC book, various and sundry other comics and even some prose reading plus TV shows, a movie and some UFC. Man there just ain't enuff hours.

The Dublin flea market is also this weekend.

Wow the Attack on Titan Afterbuzz is pretty bad. Very little serious in the discussion other then talking about the voice talents.

Gotta love when the state takes down a website on which county work is accomplished with no notice to the users. Yeah fuck you too guys.

Friday, June 6, 2014

One hundred forty four

I seem to be loseing motivation for doing almost anything lately. Not good.

We gave Nick my car to use for the time being. I think he was cool with it.

Wednesday, June 4, 2014

One hundred forty three

Hmm my TV watching and perhaps podcasting desires both seem to be waning at the moment. Not sure I like that. I think my MMA interest is also. Wonder why?

Tuesday, June 3, 2014

Monday, June 2, 2014

One hundred forty one

Tricon on Staurday with lunch from Black Shhep.

World Food Oasis on Sunday with food from Souvlaki.

Excellent weekend.

Thursday, May 29, 2014

One hundred forty

I am very interest in the Hatchette/Amazon dispute because I think it's indicative of future dealings. I am also always interested in Dish/Direct negotiations with content providers.

I feel entirely uninspired at work. Looking forward to a little con action this coming weekend.

I'm kinda geared up for So You Think You Can Dance this season, not really sure why.

Wednesday, May 28, 2014

Back to work after a long weekend always sux more then the norm.

One hundred thirty eight

Three days out of four ain't so bad for this old overweight man.

Recorded and posted a Thorcast. Bronze Age later on tonite.

Black Box has one the hardest to like protagonists I have seen in a long time on a TV show.

The Crimson Fields is pretty good. Has a Downton Abbey vibe to it.

Monday, May 26, 2014

One hundred thirty seven

Talking with Chef Teri about what I feel is going wrong with this American life is always cathartic.

All this talk about a Fitness Canter membership is tireing.

The report from the drill supervisor is that I was nicely unhelpful in narrowing done the location of the incident for the drill. My job is done here (drops mike, walks off stage).

Catching up on Davinci's Demons and Fargo.

One hundred thirty three.

Chef Teri has a rotator cuff tear that has been causing her problems since before February and we just now finally got a diagnosis.

Looks like yet another solo interview this evening. In that vein I'm doing some research and writing down some questions.

I'm going to record something after to add also to flesh out the show a little bit.

Monday, May 12, 2014

One hundred twenty five

Back at it this morning, non too happy.

Doing post on Marvel Bronze Age season 2 episode 1.

MRI unsuccessful. New approach in the process.

New Dance Fevre up.

Mike's home perhaps permanently.

One hundred nineteen

I think Chef Teri is concerned about her MRI today and like an ass I bitched about something bothering me. I'm not a very good husband sometimes.

I don't want to be here today.

Listening to Comic Geek Speak talk about Jamie D's cancer battles and remembering the time I have spent with these guys over the last 7 years. Lotsa good listening times and a visit.

Sunday, April 27, 2014

One hundred ten

Watching X-files first thing in the morning for the first time in years is very mentally taxing.

Chef Teri let my play with the nail polish and her toes today. It was kinda cool.

One hundred nine

We finished our catch up day with Warehouse 13 last night. Now we have two whole day to catch up on something newer we haven't; seen any of this season.

Watchin The Kitchen with my baby.

Man Grandmaster was too atmospheric I think. It's the kind of movie that leaves me wondering if I got it.

A little UFC 172 undercard to top off the entertainment.

Friday, April 25, 2014

One hundred eight

When I miss a day of this blog it really pisses me off. It just reminds me of my inability to follow through on ideas I have and that was one of the goals of doing this.

I finished the first season of Attack on Titan and it was very good. The manga doesn't move me as much. I'm moving on to finish Sword Art Online now as I exercise.

Working on comic books and catching up on some TV shows starting with Arrow, Crisis, DaVinci's Demons, Elementary, Fargo, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, Resurrection and The Americans.

Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Tuesday, April 22, 2014

One hundred six

I wonder if others can see my faults the way I seem to find them in others. Not that I try to be critical it just seems after repeated instances they become how I think of that person. They become their shortcomings in my mind. Does that make me an ass?

Recorded and posted a Dance Fevre.

Put together email, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ places for Marvel Bronze Age.

Monday, April 21, 2014

One hundred five.

Watching the Pens. Man as long as they rely on the past performances of Fleury they will never get very far in the playoffs. The man chokes like an asthmatic in the playoffs.

Rode the bike for too long today and feel like shit.

Sunday, April 20, 2014

Saturday, April 19, 2014

One hundred three

Biscuits and gray and apple butter and bacon for breakfast. Yummy.

Read volumes 2 and 3 of Attack on Titan and caught up on iron Man because of Malekith being in his most recent adventures.

It seems the first TEAL Productions will be making a comeback.

Friday, April 18, 2014

One hundred two

Dwelling on the relationship between Mike and I and it's really bummin me the fuck out. Damn!

It seems my biggest fear at the moment is that he may find himself feeling alone. All he has to do is reach out and it's cool. Just don't feel alone.

Started using foursquare again for the first time since last August cause Nick loaded it up.

Just watched World War Z, not bad.

Now on to Bellator.

Read volumes 2 and 3 of Attack on Titan.

One Hundred one

Just found out my favorite fresh water fish is on the do not eat list because of mercury levels. Bummer.

Catching up on Arrow, Crisis, Grimm and Fargo.

17 miles in the books and now chillin to some UFC Fight Night. and Avangers readin.

Watching my MMA twitter feed during a UFC event is pretty entertaining.

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Ninety nine

Missed posting yesterday. This will be the 100th post out of 110 days so far this year. Not what I wanted but it is what it is.

Looks like another week that folks aren't posting DwtS until days later for some reason. Not sure why.

Found out SyFy's Metal Hurlant is a show bought from someone else and has already seen broadcast of it's first season.

Folks dream of many different things. I dream of having the time to read to my hearts content.

Recorded and posted a Dance Fevre.

Sunday, April 13, 2014

ninety eight

The Dragon Missile, first thing in the morning.

Recorded and posted a Mighty Thorcast today episode 100 actually. That's the second TEAL show to hit 100.

Biscuits and sausage gravy may just be my favoritest thing in the world.

Sorting ebooks while listen to 80's videos on VH1. Classic.

...and there was much reading of comics.

Friday, April 11, 2014

Ninety six

Blah day at work. It's been a struggle to stay focused and not run the hell out of here.

I have for a while not been enjoying my work. I'm bored, uninterested and it verges on the mindless most days. I guess 13 years doing the same thing is starting to tax my whatever is taxed by being at the same job for too long.

Back on the bike after 3 days off. Not as hard as I thought it would be but hard non the less.

I'm into Attack on Titan as much as I have any TV show in a long time. Thanks Mike.

Catching up with Grimm, Crisis, DaVinci's Demons, Resurrection and The Americans.

Thursday, April 10, 2014

Ninety five

I'm not sure what to think about folks who say they don't understand or can't figure out how to use Instagram. Perhaps then you should stay away. It's not rocket science.

Found out today that my oldest Mike will be on academic suspension after this semester of college. I figure that means that for the foreseeable future he will not be attending college. Which is fine by me it just unfortunately will severely limit what he can do with his time being at home.

Marvel's Inhumanity event was very flat. It's just a mutant story with different faces.

So it seems a project has started involving Marvel bronze age comics, Google hangouts and my brother. May is the target time.

Ninety four

I didn't work out yesterday I feel like I suck. I need to do something and see it through.

Watched Legend of Smaug last night while munchin a Bellacino's pizza with my bestest girl. It was very groovy.

Tonite it looks as though we will watch Monday night's DwtS, record Dance Fevre and grub on something from The Omlette Spot.

I'm considering shifting the emphasis of my comic reading to manga and older books. Not sure what to do with current stuff.

Recorded a Dance Fevre and now time to edit.

Catching up on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD and Justified.

Ninety three

Last night's Dancing with the Stars was not good because of TV troubles.

Fix it dude appears as though he will be at the apartment sooner rather then later.

We got a new box for the satellite.

Pizza for dinner tonite and Hobbit 2. Stay date with my bestest girl.

Posted about my Avengers reading blog today and already got a re-tweet by Peter Rios and comments on the blog from Jon Wilson. Coolness.

Ninety two

I started my Avengers read along blog last night. I want to read the Avengers and am jotting down a few thoughts from each issue.

I'm really liking Attack on Titan.

It's cool talking to Mike about Manga recommendations. I have connected with him on some level and I like that. Just wish it had been more.

Eighty nine

Ballroom Dancing with a Twist was one of the cooler things I have seen live. Tristan is now my favorite pro male dancer.

TEAL Productions has the materials to do a Dance Fevre, two Emerald Archers and two Mighty Thorcasts as well as needing to do a Ronin Rabbit and Lords of Order this weekend. I wonder how many will actually get done?

Watching Bellator.

Eighty six

Last night's dinner was good but not exceptional. The Ravioli turned out to be more delicate then I thought and many broke open during cooking.

Trying to find a review site for historical mysteries is much more difficult then finding one that covers cozy mysteries, which I found.

Mountain Monsters is back for a second season, that's cool.

I will start riding the recumbent again and try harder to keep it up. I have been checking my blood sugars today for the first time in about a year and they are swinging wildly. Not good.

I biked for 40 minutes covering 12.27 miles and episodes 5 and 6 of Steven Universe. Salad for dinner the best part was the dressing.

Pens are sucking some veiny donkey tonite.
