First day at work this week. Not in favor.

Body Combat this evening. Not in favor of that either.

Pens one game 1 of the 2016 Stanley cup finals last night but may have lost their hottest rookie to a hit that got no supplemental punishment.

I think when I get to 700 podcasts I'm going to take a break. That will be 700 produce in 6.5 years. I'm tired. DF, and Thor will probably keep going the others I'm not sure. Maybe just more sporadic. I think I just wanna read for a while. Time will tell.

Articles are starting to appear stating that the problem with modern fandom is linked to a sense of entitlement. Curious seeing as how that has been a problem with society for a generation or more.

Finished up my Image reading for a little bit now on to something else.

X-Men Apocalypse was a fun watch.

We had our first lunch at a real dive place. It was yummy.

We are definitely day tripping to Cranberry Glades. A nature preserve I have heard about for years but never made it too.

Worked a weight routine for the first time in too long. It hurtses.

Back to work. Not really no internet and Physical therapy really had be doing nothing work related until about 10.30 then it was back to work.

Body combat kicked my ass and left me feeling like when we first started it.

Excellent dinner and now some Pens hockey.

Pens move on to try and capture Lord Stanley's trophy. Coolness!

We are going to do all the paperwork to sign the car over to Nick today.

Car transfer accomplished.

Stopped at a newish coffee shop we had to visited. Not bad, not particularly good but not bad.

Boxed up a month of so's worth of books.

Visited with Chef Teri's mom for her birthday.

Blog posted, now on to more comics.

Tried Pepsi 1823 or what the hell ever it's called, not bad.

Steak for dinner, rice pudding and banana bread for desert and comics to fill the time.

Chilled and read some BOOM! while Chef Teri went to her surgery check up Dr appointment.

All reports came back good and she got the papers she needed for work and for working out.

Clothes need washed so we washed.

Groceries need bought so we bought.

Home with some tunes on the tube while I continue to try and catchup on comics. This time focusing on ones I have order on paper...while a worn out Chef Teri naps.

We moved on to Daredevil in our TV catchup program.

My PT appointment was uneventful but I did come home with some Ortho tape on so now I can flash it at the gym and get some cred.

Recorded two shows tonite and released three with one more going out tomorrow.

Comic Book Day.

Finished up Dominion, the latest Blindspot and now the first Capaldi Dr Who season.

Three books at the shop and now chillin till the Pens come on tonite.

Pens won in OT. Lucha Underground was pretty good tonite. Excited to see Cage bash Chavo next week.

First Physical Therapy session today. I boogered up the payment part by not asking the right questions. Took both of us a couple hours to get the answers we wanted.

Looks like Chris wants to expand the show...again. That dude just can't maintain to save his life just gotta be pushing for more.

New week. This morning Chef Teri gave me her list of things she wanted to accomplish today. It was cool to see that side of her, it's been resting and now it's ready to go.

Working to catch up on the final season of Perception today.

I may have decided to give up on Marvel this morning.

Dancing with the Stars watched and the Pens won in OT.

Lazy morning, the best kind. No thoughts or concerns as to what comes next. Just doing what is being done at the moment. I think today's humans spend too much time worrying about next and not enough absorbing now.

Watching a Tiny Homes show this morning and wondering why I still read so many Marvel comics when I can't even count the number I truly enjoy.

So far we have watched Stan Lee's Luck Man, Colony, Orphan Black, Outlander, Banshee, The Librarians, Lip Sync Battle, iZombie, The Walking Dead, Steampunk'd and Blindspot. We tried The Alien but the first episode was all we could handle.

Killer freakin pot roast that Chef Teri and I prepared last night.

Chef Teri has been able to sleep fairly well because of the low pain levels.

Very little  pain for Chef Teri makes us want to ask Dr Morgan what exactly he did do.

The Pens clinched last night and move on to the Eastern Conference Championship series against the Lightening.

Comics read and TV catchup as we let Chef Teri rest and heal up.

Day after. Pain is there but very manageable according to Chef Teri.

Time for me to do all the things that Chef Teri normally does, many of which I pay little or no attention too and honestly take for granted.

Day one is done and I think everything went relatively well. My baby doesn't seem to be suffering as badly as she did last time.

Surgery day.

This is the situation I am the least comfortable with. I'm not really into control nut the level of noncontrol is very disconcerting.

After around 8 hours we are back home. Chef Teri is very fuzzy but thankfully not in very much pain. Time will tell.

Pens win and go up 3-1 in the series. Now they need to win 1 of the last 3 games however 2 of those will be in DC.

Politics in this country is so FUBAR'ed. Everyone involved needs to be removed from the planet and the entire process started over from scratch.

Comic book day.

Folks who wait for trades and are proud of that fact and believe they are helping support the industry are not. The proof for that is simply what would happen to the industry if everyone did that.

I also have little respect for these types of 'cherry pickers' that wait to see what the consensus is on books that catch their eye and then read after the fact the things most have said are good.

Both of these kinds of lazy millenial 'fans' are a major part of what is wrong with the 'supporters' of the comic book industry. A sad offshoot of the movie generation of comic book fans. For me that is those that have gotten into it within the past 10 years. They are a waste and will drop out with in 15 years of starting the hobby yet they are catered too like their money is what keeps everything going, no it's fans like me who have stayed with the industry for the lat 40+ years. Fuck the newbies...they comic book publishers should be catering to us since we'll be around in the long run.

Sunday, Mat 1.

Lazy day prepping for the pending operation for Chef Teri and setting things up at work and home for me to have the reign alone for a little while, as she recovers.

Trying to wittle down my physical to read pile. Knocked out 140 books in April bringing the yearly total to just over 700 different books. Sounds like solid numbers but it is not ever remotely a dent in what I want to read much less what I have available to me to read.

Up early this morning messin with podcasts.

Prepping for a trip to Huntington today and a couple new restaurants.

Great lunch.

Some museum time with Chef Teri.

Dinner plans had to be reassessed but probably turned out better than the original.

Nice set of fights. The announcing was better but that may be about the only thing Hard Knocks has over Ruckus in the Cage.

Tough drive home but we made it and now bed time.
