Slept maybe five of the nine hours I had last night. Not exactly sure why but there it is.

Working through this throat issue will set a new high for my patience, if I make it to the other side.

Ok now I feel my tongue swelling back up and I'm not happy. Sucks.

Started out with no sleep because of this tongue thing. A couple medical visits and the consensus is it's a reaction to a new drug I'm on and ace inhibitor that is renal protective because of my diabetes.

The end result is a mouthwash that is pretty cool, numbs virtually everything for a while and allows me to eat with minimal pain.

Just a nice full day of whine inducing pain.

DWTS 10th anniversary special was 45 minutes of fan masturbation, not really my thing but took one for the podcast.

I miss the enjoyment I got from my junior high age reading of comic books. Part of that is I'm now old and jaded but also books just are not written that way anymore.

Whew 12 hours and we are back home but it was a fun 12 hours.

Friday, not payday but it is a prep day for our con trip tomorrow. We're open to hanging out around Huntington/Charleston all weekend or just up and back.

We have entered a new paradigm at work where by rather then paper requests the boss sends me an email asking for mapping changes. It works I suppose, until it doesn't.

With this post I'm six off from daily which I suppose for 3 months isn't too bad. Imissed by forty all last year which is three and a half or so a month so I'm on a better pace.

I want to record Dance Fevre and The Might Thorcast this week and get all the Ronin Rabbit's posted.

Saturday is Trio-Con so it's spent and Sunday will probably be pretty chill also.

Gotta remember to have Nick sort through a bunch of jackets Teri and I pulled out yesterday.

Did several 'make life easier' things around the apartment this weekends plus new end tables. TV Stand and something with the love seat chairs combo we have in the living room and it will mostly be redone.

Wow no regional Burning Man in Virginia or West Virginia. I wonder what that says about the residents?

Cyber-bullying sure is an issue considering you can just leave if it gets to be too bad. Where does it say social media is a life requirement?

The problem in my mind is giving too much weight to the many asshats on social media and living your life such that you give a damn what those asshats say.

So many people find offense with so many things. Just makes me wonder why they try if they are always offended.

For entertainment and for the show I listen to a couple  other DWTS podcasts. I guess I watch for entirely different reasons then other folks. I am not 'moved' nearly as much as others.
