We filed our taxes today and the entire process from beginning to end is the biggest fucking pain in the ass ever.

We watched After Earth with Will Smith and his son. Not bad.

Now we got some World Series of Fighting action going down.

Friday is the best work day of the week.

So we got Lion Fights and Bellator on the telly tonite.

I fell outta sync or like a car not firing on all cylinders. Not sure hwy or what it means.

Nick got his SAT's back and got 560 on Reading, 610 on Math and 580 on Writing.

Talking Comics is now my favorite comic book podcast taking over for CGS which had lost all traction due to host attrition.

Why do people continue to ask about the biblical relevancy of movies coming out of Hollywood. Why in the heck would they want to be accurate with the adversarial view of people of faith. Scientology reigns supreme there. Get a clue folks.

I find political discussions even more tiresome then religious ones and I'm Christian.

The Pens lost last night. I'm not sure why but the Olympic break really killed our team chemistry and now Malkin is out for probably the remainder of the season.

I am siq and freakin tired of snow, cold and winter.

Morning 2 in Montgomery Alabama. Breakfast buffet this morning. I think it was a better meal then yesterday's breakfast.

I had lunch at The Bistro in the Alley. Small house salad with balsamic vinaigrette, a pasta salad with goat cheese, some grapes and orange slices and a roast beef panini ordered a cappuccino with. While there the belt I was wearing broke and so rather then enjoying being outside and perhaps seeing some sights I had to get back to the hotel room for fear of showing my ass.

The Great Catchup Comic project has now moved into its second stage. I want to catch up on some shorter runs of books coming out and catch up on some cancelled DC books.

Wasabi is the last evening stop of our taste of Montgomery tour. I had yaki soba noodles with beef, Goya and Tempura ice cream.

Waking up in a new place for the first time is always an interesting feeling. We become so secure in our normal place and waking up is one of the more rut kind of things we do. Knowing where everything we need is and all the ins and outs of how it works and how to work it. All that is gone, every single thing is brand new. Feels weird.

Now the hunt for breakfast begins. This place is pretty classy.

The Shadow is the comic catchup of the day. So far I dig Garth Ennis' take on the character. Truthfully there has been very little of Ennis' That I have read I haven't liked.

Watchin the kitchen and play with the hosts on Twitter, it's cool. Sad we won't be able to do this next weekend.

Now it's catchup time. Readin Rachel Rising with Banshee on the tube, season finale.

Pens time. Damn I'm getting more and more disgusted watchin Fleury in goal. He is what's holding the Pens back from being a great team. By the time those assholes realize it they will have completely had to dismantle the team.

Watched From Dusk till Dawn TV. It was pretty good. I would be interested even if I had seen the movie.

Now UFC 171 prelims on FS2. Man Fox switches to commercials awefully quickly.

We had burgers last night cooked on our electric grill. There is just something tasty about ground beef patties cooked on a grill, yummy.

Back at it today after a sleepy day at home yesterday.

Nick's interviewing for a job he's been wanting for months today plus he was in the midst of setting up another job for the summer.

Chef Teri and I are starting to talk about getting a new car. Mine is paid off and we have told Nick we'll give it to him.

After two nights of way lateness recording podcasts I needed to stay home today and catch up on sleep.

Watched episode 0-5 of Steven Universe in preparation to cover the comic for BOOM Addiction when it comes out this summer. Tired of being out of the loop on all their Kaboom titles.

Now catching up on some of lasts seasons Bellator cards.

I think after three more titles catchin up I'm gonna switch gears to some DC comics. I still have Rachel Rising, The Shadow and The Spider to catch up first.

Beef stew was excellent tonite except it left me craving desert.

On FB I have run into any individual that has sanctimonious written on just about everything he posts. Recently he has called someone out for dropping the word bitch but just earlier in the day advised everyone to go see a movie that represented God in a non biblical way.

Finally got back on track with my bible reading after being off for about two weeks.

The youngest is taking the SAT today and I think we're gonna take him to his favorite local restaurant after as a relaxer.

The Kitchen has officially become a fixture show on Saturday mornings. We have not missed a season 1 episode.

The Manhattan Projects is my next catch up book.

I finally understand that the difference in age is almost entirely what causes the complete change in perspective in comic book readers. Younger readers are so entirely overwhelmed by continuity while most older readers dig it.

Listened to Jessica Eye's interview on the MMA Hour. She was spouting pure bullshit and lying her ass off. Dude if she is gonna keep up in the sport she desperately needs a PR person, she sux.

Went out for dinner and now I wanna yack.

Watching the pay portion of UFC 170 and trying to finish catching up on Mind the Gap. Cross Mind the Gap off the list.

Dancing with the Stars season 18 was announced today. Sounds like time to knock the dust of Dance Fevre for another season.

Valiant comics relying on trick chromium covers doesn't sit well with me. Internal art and good stories sell comics. Trick covers  encourages speculation which nearly killed my hobby in the late 80's through early 90's.

All the twitter talk was about the Oscars now it's about another round of shitty weather.

So after 3 seasons of a 6 season show if you still don't 'get it' I'll go out on a limb and say you probably won't.

Made pesto pasta with prep from the wife so I didn't actually do this one by myself but trying to take some of the cooking pressure off Chef Teri when work crunches.

Tomorrow night is homemade pizza...yeah but you've not had it like this before. best pizza anywhere.
